This is the ‘Ecocapsule’
Created by a group called Nice Architects in Slovakia, the Ecocapsule is a portable house with a living space, bed, toilet and shower. An integrated battery system stores energy from the 28 square foot solar array on the roof and 750W wind turbine on a retractable pole. The bathroom uses a compostable toilet, while clean drinking water is filtered from a rain collection system.
This is a portable house with an “immense off-grid life span,” they said. Ecocapsule was designed as a living space that, in addition to a home, might even serve as an independent research station, tourist room unit, or emergency housing unit.

The knife to the wound…
Cabin in the Forest
Tomek Michalski
The vision of the place to clear one’s head targeted at the individuals who need rest, seclusion from other people, the world and daily life. A cold, misty forest in the context of a warm space of seclusion is supposed to help and shape character, as well as invoke emotions and willingness to ponder. Both the building itself and the interiors will be designed to affect the flora and fauna as little as possible.
